Mac Miller Death: Suspect Agrees to Plea Deal

A man has pleaded guilty to supplying the dealer who allegedly sold drugs to the late rapper, Mac Miller.

In September 2018, Miller died from an accidental overdose. The counterfeit oxycodone pills that he bought were laced with fentanyl, and taken with a toxic combination of cocaine and alcohol. A year later, three men – Cameron Pettit, Ryan Reavis and Stephen Walter – were arrested in connection with his death.

In a statement released by the US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, 10 November, Reavis pleaded guilty to a single count of distributing fentanyl.

According to the plea agreement, Reavis – under the direction of Walter – knowingly supplied the laced pills to dealer Pettit, who then allegedly sold them to Miller two days before the latter’s death.

Reavis faces up to 20 years in jail, but may receive a lesser sentence per the plea agreement. Walter also pleaded guilty to one count of distributing fentanyl last month, while Pettit – who faces the same charge, along with conspiring to distribute controlled substances resulting in death – has yet to enter a plea.
